Nach meinem Studium verstand ich es als meine persönliche Aufgabe, Wissen weiterzugeben und Menschen den Zugang zur Musik zu öffnen – ob über Stimme oder Instrument. Im künstlerisch-pädagogischen Arbeiten sehe ich die Inspiration als Schlüsselfigur. Mal fließt sie vom Lehrer zum Schüler, mal in die andere Richtung. Genau in diesem Wechselspiel entsteht Neues.

Für mich ist Kunst keine Projektion und keine Therapie – auch wenn sie heilend wirken kann. Kunst ist Ausdruck. Echt. Eine Balance zwischen Komponisten und Werk, zwischen Tradition und Gegenwart. Diese Haltung führte mich auf vielfältige Ebenen meiner Arbeit. Klassik und Jazz. Pop und Dichtung. Grenzen verschwimmen. Meilensteine entstehen. So wurde Heinrich Heine bei mir zu einem „verpoppten“ Heine und Ringelnatz bekam einen jazzigen Tonfall. Ich mag die Wortwahl.

Kunst ist für mich ein Experimentierfeld. Ein Raum, in dem Authentizität und Spielfreude zusammentreffen um neue Formen zu schaffen oder alte zu kultivieren.
